mind, body, and soul. D.A.M.B. (Shaun Slaughter) was raised listening
to soul music, but grew into punk, and later into house music in his
late teens. D.A.M.B. has spent the last thirteen years crafting a
unique sound which combines his love of tropical melodies, afrobeat,
hip-hop, jacking house, and cumbia. His DJ sets are rapid-fire shots
of well-edited soulful house with a flair for anything tropical. His
first promo release, 2010’s Waiting was a sensation, earning critical
praise and accolades including a 4.5/5 rating in DJ MAG, an appearance
on The Count & Sinden's BBC Essential Mix and spent two straight
months in Turntable Lab’s top 10!
D.A.M.B. is currently signed to Monkey See Monkey Do (Belgium), No
Brainer (Germany) & DJs Are Not Rockstars (NYC) and has remixed or
been remixed by the likes of LOL Boys, Bird Peterson, Sinden, Edu K,
DJ Wool, Chaos In The CBD, Princess Superstar, & Zoo Brazil.
Shaun also just released a new Ep under the alias Le Ron Hubbard on
Teenage Riot Records which is run by JFK from MSTRKFT.
